FUTURE OF NURSING TASK FORCES
DESCRIPTION

Charges: Each task force focuses on assigned recommendations and is responsible for coordinating efforts around that recommendation

  • Provide input to development of priorities
  • Develop recommend and implement approved action plans
  • Engage additional ad hoc members as needed
  • Report on progress to Future of Nursing AC.

Goals 1. Based upon the AZ self study, recommend priorities in achieving scope of practice and nurse residency recommendations in IOM report
2. Develop and implement action plans approved by the EC to achieve identified priority goals
3. Identify and recommend measurable benchmarks consistent with IOM dashboard data
1. Based upon the AZ self study, recommend priorities in achieving expanded opportunities for nurses to lead and diffuse collaborative improvement efforts and prepare and enable nurses to lead change to advance health

1. Based upon the AZ self study, recommend priorities in achieving 80% baccalaureate preparation by 2020, doubling number of nurses with a doctorate degree by 2020 and ensuring nurses engage in lifelong learning.
